WHAT OPTIONS DOES A STUDENT HAVE IN INGOLSTADT? - SOCIALISING, ENTERTAINMENT, HOTELS etc Personal Experience, I am Anoop Krithvasan living in Ingolstadt. Having stayed for 6 months in Ingolstadt, I would like to share things that I have done to socialise and to spend your free time on arrival at Ingolstadt . When you have visa for 26 countries why cant you take a advantage of it? Yes I took it. I am Anoop Krithivasan pursuing Masters in Automotive Engineering at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt. During my Christmas holidays I visited Switzerland. Even though it is not a part of European Union, It is a part of Schengen countries. So your visa is valid to make a visit. Things you need to take care while visiting other countries are: 1. Mode of Transport 2. Accommodation 3. What the Places that you can visit in that particular season along with the cost to visit. Fear of the unknown can be tough to handle. And being a vegetarian myself, who has relished the tasty treats of a Vegetarian tradition, coming to Germany for my education sounded challenging. The million dollar question “Will I still be able to eat the customary handful of curd rice after a meal?” You have had the same thought didn't you? Feel like a King. Try Cooking Except for a few vegetables (like Ladies’ finger and Drumsticks), most vegetables such as Carrot, Potato, Onion, Capsicum, Cabbage, etc. are available in every Supermarket. Even the exceptions are available at Indian food stores in Stuttgart. So, cooking vegetarian specialties is doable. Constraints are usually what limit one’s choices. Identify what are your constraints. While eating out requires more money, cooking by oneself needs patience and time. Sharing your cooking chores with friends can be a great plus! After reunification of East and West, Berlin is surely one among the best. Located approximately 650 kms to the northeast of Esslingen, it surely is a long journey in European standards. But in comparison to the Indian sub-continent, the journey can appear quite small as it only covers as much distance as in a Chennai-Kochi or a Chennai-Hyderabad drive. After a 3-day vacation at Ingolstadt and Munich, February’s last weekend was a trip planned to Germany’s capital city Berlin. German classes in Germany Shortly after arriving in Esslingen in September 2016, I signed up for a B2 level German class at the Hochschule Esslingen. I had earlier finished my B2.1 level at The Languedge and wanted to further advance my German language skills. The course was arranged by the Hochschule free of charge with a private instructor. Course fee and structure Unpaid courses are not common in Germany, since taking up a course outside at a Sprachschule (Language Institute) usually costs 180-220 Euros/course (average) with around 50-60 learning units (All classes in Germany are mentioned as number of Learning Units (UE), each UE being 45 minutes). Few private tutors also offer classes that are charged on an hourly basis. Hi reader !!! :) My name is Babu (from Chennai, India) presently pursuing Masters of Science in Power Engineering (MSPE 2015-17) at Technical University Munich (TUM), Germany. I'm a person who is really interested in Electrical Engineering especially in renewable energy, power electronics and electrical power systems.
